Trump’s “Opening Our Country Council” – Unqualified, Untrustworthy, Unacceptable

Trump has formed a committee he calls the “Opening Our Country Council.” It is supposedly a committee of experts to figure out how to relax the social distancing measures that are disrupting the functioning of the economy. Who are these so-called experts? Trump’s daughter Ivanka and Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner, as well as Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow, U.S. Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, and Vice President Mike Pence. So basically, it’s just the Trump administration, with not a single doctor or expert. Not surprising, because as Trump has always said, he thinks he should have total authority. Just like Trump, the “Opening Our Country Council” is Unqualified, Untrustworthy, Unacceptable.
