June 1943 – When Black workers took the lead in North Carolina’s freedom struggle

In June 1943, Black workers at the RJ Reynolds factory struck against poor working conditions.

The evils suffered by humanity today stem from the capitalist system. We must end the capitalist system of exploitation and replace it with a system run in the interest of all, not the profits of a few. Our future is up to us.
