In the popular struggles around the world, whether in Latin America or the Arab Spring, we have seen millions of people in motion fighting for a better life. But who are the leaders today of these struggles? What are the results of the changes in government that have resulted from these struggles? What role does the population play after the change is made at the top? Come to a presentation by a member of Speak Out Now and Clifton Ross, a writer and the director of “Venezuela: Revolution from the Inside Out” (2008, PM Press), who will report on his recent month-long investigation of the Venezuelan economy, social and political situation and his interviews with union leaders, sociologists, political analysts, members of human rights organizations and discussions with people in the streets (and cafes).
